  • Do you have a film that will inspire people around the world? A film that brings light to diverse environmental issues and solutions? If the answer is yes ,then Northeast Green Summit Documentary Film Festival is your destination.
  • A documentary competition will be held showcasing documentaries which are based on or related to the environment.
  • Through the art of filmmaking, we intend to bring our audience vital stories that explore the biodiversity on our planet.

    ¨An internationally acclaimed film to be screened.

    -CELEBRITY TALK

    ¨The maker of an award-winning film will attend the occasion and deliver a speech on the value of documentaries in preserving the environment.

    -INTERACTIVE SESSION

    ¨An interactive session between the celebrity and audiences will be held, which will cover the aspects of film making based on environment.

   -Jury Panel

  ¨The competition will be judged by a panel of industry experts with expertise in both film and environmental issues.

     –Judging Criteria:

   ¨ Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, storytelling, technical execution, and relevance to the theme.

Regulations

  • ¨The competition is open for Indian citizens only.
  • ¨The theme of the documentary competition should be related to natural environment, biodiversity, climate change, protecting earth etc.
  • ¨Documentary films will not be more than 59 minutes including credit titles.
  • ¨Films must be sent  on High Quality MP4 /Blu Ray.
  • ¨All films in the competition sent for the competition will be in their original versions, with English subtitles.
  • ¨The last date of submission is 20th November 2023.¨
  • “The decision for the selection or rejection of any film is the sole prerogative of the festival committee.
